In the winter lips can really suffer. They may become dry or cracked and unattractive and hurt your overall look. The holidays are a time when we really want our lips to look their best. So here are some tips for perfect sparkly lips:
First remove any dry flaky skin. A toothbrush or damp cloth works well. Then apply lip balm. A medicated version like Carmex or Blistex may be needed if you lips are in bad shape.
Don’t be afraid to shine. Matte colors will make lips luck dull and more dry. Shine is in this season.
For lip color that will last, line lips with lip liner, then fill in lightly. Add lip color on top. Many formulas are made to last without drying the lips as well. A good one to try is Revlon Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze, available in drug stores.
